The Racine Coalition for Financial Fitness is a coalition made up of over a dozen organizations that aims to help the community manage their finances with greater confidence and understanding in order to enjoy the improved quality of life that accompanies financial stability. Financial Education and Outreach
One core goal of the Racine Coalition for Financial Fitness is to develop a comprehensive year-round cycle of financial education for the Racine community. This cycle includes the Asset Builders Annual Money Conference, various financial literacy workshops and classes, and housing resources such as Rent Smart, first-time home buyer workshops, and foreclosure prevention counseling.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)
Racine Kenosha Community Action Agency, Inc. has provided the VITA program to income-eligible residents of Racine since 2009.
With the assistance of IRS trained volunteers and the generous support of our sponsors , RKCAA and its VITA partners have been able to provide no-cost tax return and electronic filing services to urban and rural residents of Racine County.
The specific objective of the RKCAA VITA Program is to provide a permanent sustainable way in which income -eligible residents receive their tax return and available tax credits.
VITA is a core component of the Racine Coalition for Financial Fitness.

AARP (TCE) - Tax Assistance
TCE
The TCE Program offers free tax help for all with priority assistance to people who are 60 years of age and older, specializing in questions about pensions and retirement issues unique to seniors. IRS-certified volunteers who provide tax counseling are often retired individuals associated with non-profit organizations that receive grants from the IRS.
